In this New Year, go slowly…

In this new year, go slowly, there is no need to rush. The sun does not rush to rise, and still it rises. Without its slow and easeful pace it would not illuminate all in its path, its light would not shine to brighten even the darkest of corners.

The same is true of your pace, your rising. Without its perfect uniqueness, all of the beauty in your journey and path would not be illuminated; the richness of it all would be lost…the shadows never brought to light to be transformed.

So embrace it wholly and know that this unfolding is yours alone. It does not follow a calendar, it is not influenced by comparison. Let your path be your own, let the timing of your journey reveal itself naturally, and in each moment rise up to greet the path before you - present and willing.
